Opened in 1863 by the Manchester Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway, which had extended its line from Grimsby. View south east towards the buffers. In addition to the ubiquitous DMUs, a long rake of Mark 1 carriages is in residence. The original station building is still extant on the right.
