Pitchcott's old parish church, dedicated to St Giles was deconsecrated a number of years ago and is now a private house. It dates from as early as the C12th with additions and modifications in every one of the following centuries. The tower which can be seen in this image peeping over the Image] dates from the C15th and C16th.
