Opened in 1858 by the South Staffordshire Railway on the line from Walsall to Rugeley, this station closed in 1965. It was rebuilt and reopened by British Rail in 1989. View north towards Hednesford and Rugeley, some seven years before the railway line was electrified. See Image for a 2019 view taken from approximately the same position.
