Clegg Lane used to go past the farm on its way to Lower Turbury (now called Far Turbury, no doubt to avoid confusion), but the lane has been diverted and goes directly to Rochdale Road. However the public footpath on it has not been diverted,a nd comes through this narrow passage, with a stile at each end.
