Opened in 1841 by the Northern & Eastern Railway, later part of the Great Eastern Railway on what is now the line from London Liverpool Street to Cambridge. It had a variety of names that included Netteswell, Burnt Mill and combinations thereof, but in 1960 with the adjacent New Town having been built and the station getting a major rebuild, the name "Harlow Town" was settled on. View south west towards Roydon and London.
