The residential buildings are all boarded up, but are in good condition, suggesting that abandonment was fairly recent. The barns are in poorer condition but still in use. Shakespeare's Way passes here and the guidebook encourages you to keep as far from the farm house as possible, presumably to avoid disturbing the then occupants.
