Houses at the junction of Bank Lane and The Crescent, Warton

This small estate of houses on Bank Lane and a few more backing on to them on The Crescent, are former RAF Houses. Opposite the estate is the huge BAe Systems Warton site, which started as a 'satellite' airfield for the RAF Coastal Command based at Squires Gate, Blackpool. The estate is a mix of Detached and Semi-Detached Houses which would indicate that it was probably used by Officers rather than the lower ranks. See also ... Image
