This stretch of Gentleman's Row is built up on its east side only - properties look out towards the New River Loop. The general impression is Georgian, but houses vary greatly in date and style, and some must be older. In this view, the house with the pediment is Archway House - the carriage arch beneath its right-hand bay leads through to Chapel Street.
