A view of the Hampton Court branch at Summer Road Level Crossing, looking towards Thames Ditton. The branch from the mainline at Surbiton opened on 1st February 1849. It should be noted that standing on railway tracks, even at a level crossing, is an unsafe thing to do - this shot was taken whilst crossing at normal walking pace.
