Looking south-ish from the minor road near North Greendykes over a fine vista towards the Pentland Hills in the distance. The houses on the right are managers' houses associated with the Albyn Shale Oil Works, and to their left is a modern development around the steading at Greendykes. North Greendykes Road passes between the Albyn company houses and the new development.
