Opened in 1864 by the Wycombe Railway on the line from Maidenhead to Aylesbury, this station replaced an earlier terminus station on an adjacent site (see Image]). In turn, this station was rebuilt c.1905 when the direct line from London Marylebone arrived. View south east towards Beaconsfield and London.
