This seems to be a new entrance road to Russia Hall that follows the line of the bridleway, Bishop Bennet Way. It is also interesting to see how names change, as on the 1882 O.S. map the farm is recorded as Rushall Hall. One can see how the name could be misheard or changed in common usage.
