Here is Richard E Grant ('Withnail') making a rather foul-mouthed call from this phone to his agent in the cult 1986 film http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhGCAqEG2cs The interior is quite dirty and there is a book hanging inside for visitors to leave written comments - most are quite unprintable. I was more surprised to find that this phone still takes coins although a minimum charge of 60p seems quite steep - no wonder no-one uses them any more unless a mobile signal can't be found.
