Pauline Eccles describes this unassuming footbridge across a seasonal stream as ancient Image Indeed it is listed grade 2 (list entry number 1149744) and the listing describes it as the remains of an old packhorse bridge over a flood channel, dating from c.1769 but rebuilt in 1794 and restored 1966.
