This old building, across the road from Sandstell Fishermen's Shiel Image, is now home to Berwick Sailing Club. A knowledgeable passer-by told me that women worked here, gutting and packing fish: the large window-spaces allowed full baskets or creels to be passed out to waiting cartmen for distribution.
