My parents, the family dog and I stayed at The Manor Hotel, now called Abersoch Manor http://www.jhilditch.com/pdf/AbersochManor_JH.pdf where the proprietors were Mr and Mrs Faulkner. It seems that this is where we had our meals while overnight accommodation was initially with Mrs Roberts at “Bodorwel” (which lies along a road off Lon Pontre Bach, almost opposite the entrance to Abersoch Manor) but because she didn’t like our dog, we moved to another house and stayed with Miss Lloyd and Miss Cowley, who liked dogs as they had two of their own.
