Opened in c.1852 as "Victoria" by the Monmouthshire Railway & Canal Company on the line from Newport (Gwent) to Ebbw Vale, this station (cut into the slope in the distance) closed in 1962 (all needs confirmation). This is now the location of Ebbw Vale Parkway station, the platform now being to the left of the track.
