Leaving Epping for Ongar

London Underground's Central Line now terminates at Epping. It used to continue beyond Epping through countryside to Ongar. The service between Epping and Ongar ran as a self-contained shuttle. In this image, the train to Ongar is leaving Epping station. In the other platform another train waits to begin its journey to and through Central London.
