This steel artwork is beside Wimbledon Bridge road, outside of Wimbledon railway station. Has a small steel plaque which reads "Born by the forest upon the hill, From the chase of Iron Age settlers and 16th Century kings, Still as stone he rested on the lodge, St Mary's guard, Now wanders down to see the new town's throne" Designed by Isabelle Southwood and cost £20,000 in 2012.
