Curiously, the Grade II listing in March 1977 was for these two semi-detached houses, 103 and 105 Station Road, but this was later amended to 105 Station Road, the smaller semi on the left. The houses were built in the late 18th century alongside what was probably only a track. Station Road could not have been so named until the arrival of the railway in Shirehampton, and the building of its station, in the 1860s.
