The tree stumps and the gap between the scruffy remains of more trees are all that remain of the trees that lined the Linkwood Burn when it flowed straight down into the River Lossie here. The burn has been diverted to the right to join the River Lossie several hundred metres further east. Compare with Image], taken from almost the same spot.
