Entrance to Manor Farm Country Park

This is the western entrance close to Junction 8 of the M27. The park was formerly a Royal Navy shore establishment named HMS Cricket. After it was decommissioned in 1946 the buildings were used to house Southampton residents made homeless by the Blitz of WWII. The park was opened to the public in 1979 and as a farming museum 5 years later.
