Opened in 1856 by the Staines, Wokingham and Woking Junction Railway on the line from Staines to Wokingham. The station was called "Ascot & Sunninghill" between 1857 and 1921. View east towards Sunningdale and Staines, 6 years before the footbridge was replaced and new fencing appeared on this platform. See Image for a 2019 view.
