Viewed from this http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3254041 footbridge looking in the direction of the line's terminus at Penarth station about half a mile away. At about 120 metres, the single platform is far longer than the trains which now stop here, on the Penarth branch of the Vale of Glamorgan Line. Until the 1960s, there was a second track through the station alongside the now disused and overgrown second platform on the left.
