The parish tapers out into a point at the junction of station Road and Lower Wick Street, the boundary with Selmeston parish runs along the trees to the left whilst that with Arlington parish runs along the trees to the right. The scrub beyond the far end of the field was once a brick and tile works that operated from the 1870s until 1960s whilst the wood in the distance is Ludlay Coppice.
