Hall's Croft herb garden

Hall's Croft was the home of Dr John Hall and his wife Susanna. In keeping with the medical practice of the day, which utilised herbs as treatments the house had a part of the garden dedicated to the growing of the herbs, as well as providing vegetables for the Halls. The current garden contains a large number of herbs that were typically used during the 17th century.
