The view from Haytor Down on a crisp December morning looking down towards Ilsington and Liverton. The lane running across the fields in the middle distance is Tipleyhill Lane with Ilsington Woods and Rora Woods to the left on the spurs along the River Lemon valley. Beyond is Telegraph Hill and Ingsdon Hill running right to left towards Newton Abbot with the Heathfield area under the mist to the right. A scene of deeply held memories as it was here that yours truly lived and grew in a house just out of shot to the left. They say that once Dartmoor has claimed your soul it will never let you go, a truism if ever there was one.
