Grade II (Star) listed Market Cross, Aylburton

Located in the centre of Aylburton, on the corner of High Street and Chapel Hill, the Market Cross dates from the 14th century. Made of sandstone, the cross has a pyramid-like base of 5 steps. Grade II (Star) listed in 1988. The Cross pub is on the right. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3232029
