This office is controlled by Highways Agency officers who inspect heavy weight lorries before they enter the Dartford Tunnel. Cyclists heading to Essex can also wait here for a passing Highways Agency car to be taken across the Tunnel (or reversely across the bridge). In the background is the rush hour traffic on the A282 (the only road section of the M25).
