To the right of the road: Archcliffe Fort with the white-painted Lord Warden House beyond it and to its right, the three lighthouses are those at the ends of the Prince of Wales Pier, Southern Breakwater and Admiralty Pier, respectively. To the left, in the distance, ships berthed beside The Eastern Docks and part of the famous White Cliffs.
