Tinkers Lane once joined School Road and Cut Throat Lane. Possibly to save the little darlings from harassment or worse by the nasty folk, but more probably in order to accommodate the M42 Motorway, Tinkers Lane was cut in two, and this bridge now only provides access to High Chimneys Farm and a couple of other properties.
