A row of former merchants' houses behind The Grain Warehouse on the restored Victoria Quays site. This semi-circular street - known as Merchants' Crescent - leads on to Wharf Street. The flight of steps connect with the Hilton Hotel terrace. Sadly, the modern street lighting and other street furniture detract from this 19th century scene, as perhaps do the city centre buildings in the background?
