The Legstraps was first licensed as a public house in the early 1800s. It takes its name from leg straps which farm workers used to tie around their trousers at harvest time, to stop pests crawling up their legs. The pub used to be called the Rose & Crown. The pub's website has more information: http://www.thelegstraps.co.uk/picturepage/our-pub/
