Grand Union Canal: Lock Number 24: Cape Locks Lower Lock

This is one of a pair of locks at The Cape which were the first, or the last, on the original Warwick and Napton Canal which was completed in 1799, and subsumed into what became the Grand Union Canal in 1927. The locks were rebuilt and broadened in the 1930s.
