This tree has long been singled out to bear people's unwanted footwear. Someone has added a sign reading 'Boot sale'. Though none have prices marked or seem to be of saleable quality. I estimate that there are around 30 pairs and they include walking boots, trainers, wellies and ordinary shoes. Why here? I don't know. A sort of collective consciousness has brought individuals here to make a mysterious statement. Thought provoking stuff.
