Class 09008 is a modified Class 08, which was re-geared for faster speed at the expense of a lower tractive effort. The locomotive was named Sheffield Children's Hospital, on September 29th 1990 http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3157150 link It also carries the Yorkshire white rose logo under the cab window. The locomotive was repainted from BR blue http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3157241 to Railfreight grey. The locomotive to the right is Class 08509
