Looking down on most of the frontage of this historic building, from the multi-storey car park of the nearby leisure complex. Built in 1904 and first used as a Methodist Hall, Eastbrook Hall fell into disuse in the 1980s and its future bleakened by a major fire in 1996. Eight years later, though, plans were put in place to restore the building and it reopened in 2008 as university halls of residence, with business units as well.
