On a damp May evening this double deck Stagecoach in Lancashire bus was operating on the former Service 6 to Preston from Blackpool via St. Annes. It had just passed the junction with Orchard Road when photographed. Subsequent Stagecoach re-organisation resulted in Stagecoach's services in this area being run by Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire. The route still runs but is numbered 68.
