This is a Grade II listed structure. The listing details state that it was made in the 19C, of cast iron, and has the lettering: 'APPLEBY & Co. RENISHAW IRON WORKS / INVENTORS & MANUFACTURERS / OF PUMPS WITH REGISTERED / BUCKETS & CONE VALVES. No 4017'. 0287
