Tolgus Tin - Cornish Stamps

A nice set of Cornish stamps, used by this works in commercial operation to reduce rock to a coarse sand and slurry. The rock was sourced from disused mine dumps. These would have made a serious racket when in use. Some mines had hundreds of stamps in use, powered by steam engines.
