Along the southern side of South Street in St Andrews several alleys such as this one strike off southwards. The alleys are between houses on the street and go through under the properties as small tunnels to start with. Some seem to be public paths (see Image]) others such as this look to be private access to other properties. This one was through a portal marked "150 152"
