Brockenhurst Cricket Club's ground stands directly in front of the Balmer Lawn Hotel, next to the A337. The square is being prepared for the next day's match and is surrounded by movable metal fencing. Hot work being taken at a measured pace nearing midday on a cloudless early September day.
