It carries the date 1926. It looks as though it was an extension at the back of the original girls' grammar school in Camberwell Grove. It opened in January 1877, and was built to the designs of the architect Thomas Chatfeild Clarke. The Old Girls Club was founded in 1889. The school closed in 1981 to avoid going either private or comprehensive and became home to the Save the Children charity. Around 2009 it was converted to luxury apartments.
