Tanderagee station (using the spelling in “Irish Railway Today” - 1967) closed in 1965 along with the Goraghwood – Newry/Warrenpoint line Image This “80” class set (740,771,84) had run empty to Poyntzpass, returning to the closed station to collect a school party travelling to the Folk and Transport Museum at Cultra. On arrival at Portadown it worked the 10.30 Portadown – Bangor.
