View NW, towards Lancaster and Morecambe left, Wennington, Clapham and Hellifield right: ex-Midland Hellifield - Settle Junction - Clapham - Morecambe/Carnforth secondary main line. The station and the line west of Wennington were closed 3/1/66, the Carnforth line remaining open. The architecture of the station was already unusual and had been enhanced by the new owner.
