A footpath that follows a semi-circular route around the tip of Spike Island arrives here ready to pass beneath Avon Bridge that carries Brunel Way (the A3029) across the River Avon (The New Cut). Pedestrians and cyclists continuing under the bridge find themselves very near to the entrances to the Public Records Office and the "Create" eco-exhibition centre, both of which are housed in a former multi-storey bonded tobacco warehouse. The area on the other side of this bridge is classified as being Bristol 3.
