Rookery Hill

As viewed from Norton Hill. The small spur of chalk downland provides shelter from the Ouse estuary as well as views out to sea. Not surprising that archaeological finds on this hill are many and date right back to neolithic times. The wood covering its northern flank is called The Rookery.
