Recent station improvement works, carried out over several months, include new passenger entrances and rerouting of vehicles. Bath Spa Station, designed by I K Brunel for the Great Western Railway, opened in 1840. It is a grade II* listed building http://www.imagesofengland.org.uk/details/default.aspx?id=443080 .
