Viewed across East Street. The black and white building is The Old Forge, with 14th century origins, and major additions in the 17th century. Compare the slope of the right edge of building with the straightness of the wall to its right. The Old Forge was grade II listed in August 1953. Its white-painted neighbour is The Old Wheelwrights.
