As part of the "planning gain" the developers of the old Warley Hospital transformed the hospital farm into a Country Park. See http://www.wildessex.net/sites/Warley%20Country%20Park.htm it is managed as a nature reserve by Brentwood Council http://www.brentwood.gov.uk/index.php?cid=980
